Tort tenis (Tennis Cake)

A tennis field cake for an 8 years old tennis player. Alexandru's mom said she'd like a tennis player holding a racket... I hope they liked the outcome :-)

Un tort teren de tenis pentru un tenisman de 8 anisori. Mama lui Alexandru a vrut un tenisman care sa tina o racheta in mana....sper ca le-a placut ce-a iesit :-)

Tort Mickey Mouse, Spiderman, Batman, Pluto si Ben 10 (Mickey Mouse, Spiderman, Batman, Pluto & Ben 10 Cake)

The most time consuming cake so far...I made it for Simona's son, David. Maybe you remember the bomar logo cake made for Simona's husband, well David liked so much the red dino that he decided to have a lot of them on every cake side. And because he loves all the cartoon characters mentioned above...well, I tried to recreate them especially for him. I don't know if you noticed, but my Pluto is a heart breaker :-)))

Cel mai migalos tort de pana acum...L-am facut pentru David, fiul Simonei. Poate va mai amintiti tortul cu logo bomar pe care l-am facut pentru sotul Simonei, ei bine lui David i-a placut asa de mult logo-ul rosu, incat si-a dorit tot tortul lui inconjurat de dinozauri. Si pentru ca ii plac toate personajele din desene animate mentionate in titlu...am incercat sa le recreez special pentru el. Nu stiu daca ati observat, dar Pluto al meu, frange inimi, nu gluma :-)))
Ii urez lui David La Multi, Multi Ani si sa fie cuminte si sanatos!

Tort Printesa (Princess Cake)

My first fondant princess cake! I love how it turned out :-)

Prima mea printesa acoperita cu pasta de zahar! Imi place tare mult cum a iesit :-)

Tort Mickey Mouse, Minnie si Pluto (Mickey Mouse, Minnie & Pluto Cake)

My source of inspiration for this cake was the next photo. Eric's mom gave it to me and I "adapted" it for the current season...kind of...tried to...Anyway, I hope they like it because I tried my best to make it as "boyish" as I could:-)




Oh, now I've noticed that I forgot to take some pictures to the cake sides (I made a lovely fence...) ... the lack of time is killing me!

Mamica lui Eric mi-a trimis aceasta poza, iar eu am incercat sa o adaptez sezonului actual, cel putin am incercat...Sper ca le-a placut ce-a iesit, mai ales ca mi-am dat toata silinta sa-l fac, cat se poate de "baietesc" :-)
Iar lipsa timpului ma omoara cu siguranta! Din graba, am uitat sa fotografiez si lateralele...facusem un gardut dragut...asta e! Poate data viitoare :-)

Tort Lightning McQueen Rusteze 2,3&4 ( Lightning McQueen Rusteze Cake)

Last weekend was a "boring" one... I made 3 cakes for 3 different little boys....the same, the only one, the most requested: Lightning McQueen. Due to the lack of time, only one McQueen stayed enough time on my fridge, so I had the chance to take some pictures. And just a little note: this cake was build from my memory, I forgot my source of inspiration (the laptop!) in my bedroom where the little one was taking a nap... so, I preferred to work in silence :-)

Am avut un weekend tare "plictisitor"... am facut 3 torturi la fel pentru 3 baietei....toate avand acceasi tema: Lightning McQueen. Si pentru ca le-am terminat la timita, doar unul dintre ele a stat in frigider ceva timp, astfel ca am reusit sa-i fac o poza. Referitor la McQueen-ul de mai sus, a fost sculptat si decorat din memorie...imi lasasem sursa de inspiratie (laptop-ul !) in dormitor unde isi facea somnul de frumusete cel mic...asa ca am preferat sa lucrez in liniste :-)
